This includes prevention of incidents, injuries, occupational illnesses to its stakeholders such as employees, contractors, customers, and public. We believe that all the accidents are preventable.
Techzone is equally committed tominimise the impact of its activities on the environment by prevention of pollution,minimisewaste,actively promote recycling, and conservation of natural resources.
In order to achieve our goal “No One Gets Hurt” , we have developed a workplace safety program outlining the policies and procedures regarding employee and volunteer health safety and environment protection. Techzone has a sound Health Safety Environment Management system (HSEMS), in which rights, responsibilities, procedures and communication channels are clearly defined. The Company will regularly review and update this policy in line with developments and local legislation.
To achieve these objectives Techzone will,
- Follow clearly defined roles and Responsibilities of all staffs for the development and delivery of safety strategy and performance.
- Encourage all employees for incident reporting, and ensure recording and investigation.
- Perform workplace inspections and hazard analysis.
- Maintain good Housekeeping practices at work sites.
- Identification of hazards and their minimization and elimination where possible.
- Comply with and, exceed legislative and regulatory requirements and standards.
- Ensure that sufficient skilled and trained resources are available to implement safety strategy and policy
- Deploy sufficient resources to provide training for employees.
- Ensure that all the employees , visitor are supplied with suitable PPEs
- Conduct safety and management reviews and ensure that relevant action is taken to ensure the effective implementation of HSEMS.
- Always pay attention and effort to identify the hazards involved in the work places and implementation of system/procedures to minimize them to a level As Low As Reasonably Practicable(ALARP)
